					A master trumpeter, this Brooklyn native received his BA from Hampton University after graduating from the famed LaGuardia High School of the Arts. As 2005’s best Trumpet Player recipient, he has garnered countless awards for his talents. As for his sound…Imagine if it were possible for Dizzy and Miles to have a son; one who had his own thumbprint to leave on the face of music. He would be unprecedented. Now do you get it?

					Nakia Madry Lead Vocals, Song Writer
					When she began singing with her father at the age of four in their church choir, she was just loud and confident. Now, this feisty soprano boasts a five octave range; and with a BS in Music Engineering Technology and an MBA in Marketing, this CT native proves that brains and beauty go hand in hand. Honored in 2005 as Virginia’s best vocalist, she is every woman, but today…she’s a little bit funky, and a little bit rock and roll!

					Michon David Vocals, Song Writer
					This Gemini gives you the best of both worlds; sass and class! And let’s not forget brains. She has earned her BA in Music and an MA in Music Education. Her Jazz influenced vocals have spawned a new genre of music…we’ll call it Ms. David! She’s pretty too; if you like that stunning model type!

					John Stratford Bassist, Composer, Co-Music Director
					They haven’t built an amp to date capable of handling this Brooklyn bad boy’s sound. With his BS from Hampton University, he is the funk that you feel in your chest and that dominance whose resonance lingers long after he’s unplugged. It’s no wonder why he has been honored with Virginia’s best bassist award.

					Unrestrained soul with a jagged edge is the best way to describe the magnitude of his stage presence. With one, you get it all. He is all and he gives all, holding nothing back from the countless fans he has touched with his gift. He is a full-on entertainer! Hailing from Athens, Greece his looks are characteristic of the fabled Greek gods. Shall we say Adonis?

					Jason Jenifer is legacy. Stemming from a long line of accomplished musicians, he has created his own blueprint through his accomplishments on Clarinet, Saxophone, and let’s not forget; he is a self-taught drummer! With his pocket and fills, he is a prodigy; one whose talent is only matched by his singing voice. This Cheverly, MD native holds a BS in Music Engineering Technology and an MA in Music Education; one can only wonder…Is there anything he can’t do?

					Wellington “Boo” Britt Drums, Percussion, Background Vocals, Co-Music Director, Composer
					This Virginian was twirling drumsticks practically before he was capable of walking. Drumming since the tender age of three, Boo has become a legend amongst his peers. His name ignites whispers surrounding the phenomena of his incomparable skill. With a degree in Media Productions from Norfolk State, he is intensity personified; an untamed energy that dominates his instrument and those in his presence.

					Kasey Square Keys, Composer
					Kasey’s musical genius stems from a long line of family musicians. Raised the son of a preacher, he began to explore his talents in church at the “prodigy-like” age of six years old. His musical styling is inspired, timeless, and is not just limited to the piano. He also sings, plays trumpet, and experiments on bass and guitar.
